Neolithic style carving of a buffalo | Wood Carving

Description: A Neolithic style carving of a buffalo; even the stained red and slate grey colors of the rock evoke thoughts of early human paintings of buffalo on the rock walls of ancient caves. Beautiful lines on this smaller carving. Note: There are a few small scratches on the base where the buffalo is connected by small wooden dowels to the base (Carving comes apart for shipping).

Artist: Troy Ruttle, Fort Simpson, Northwest Territories, Canada. Copyright 2000.
